It has been announced that Mercyhurst University 🇺🇸 will be discontinuing their NCAA Division 1 men’s ice hockey program at the end of this academic year.
Mercyhurst has played in the NCAA since 1999, however have struggled in recent seasons, winning just 6 times in 37 games this year.
The school will honour any scholarships and assist students in the NCAA transfer portal.

Internationally, Larsen scored 14 (4+10) points in 49 games with Denmark 🇩🇰 from 2008-2022; being named his team’s top 3 player at the 2012 WC and helping his nation qualify for the 2022 OG. Additionally, Larsen won a silver medal and was named the best defender for Denmark U18 🇩🇰 at the 2006 U18-WJC D1, scored 9 (1+8) points in 21 games with Denmark U20 🇩🇰 across four World Junior Championships, and won gold at the 2007 WJC D1.
